Hello, I am very new to building computers and I have googled my issue a lot but cannot seem to figure out my issue. my computer currently had a GEFORCE GT 620 & 8GB of ram
I Updated my Graphics Card (GC) to a NVIDIA GeForce MSI 1050 TI which did not work at first and it was not showing any video on hdmi but the fans were spinning so I had to use on board VGA, I DID get it to work by uninstalling the drivers multiple times using DDU and uninstalling what ever popped up in Device manager with a symbol beside it. It then Showed up under display adapters that my GC was a AMD 760G which I kept uninstalling it until I finally got "VGA Microsoft Compatible" to show up under display adaptors after this happened I got hdmi to work and then I then Right clicked on it and install new drivers and set the path to the NVIDIA folder on my hard drive and that fixed it and got it to work and it was recognize as the 1050 TI...
Everything was working fine but my computer was very slow so I opened my computer up and put x2 8GB RipJaw 1600 Ram in there which is compatible with my mobo. But after that it went back to bad graphics and in Device manager it was pulling up as a AMD 760G again and also hdmi output from the card doesn't work anymore. I have re tried to do everything I said above to get it work correctly again but it's just not working anymore. I'm ready to throw this trash out the window. If anyone could help that would be great.
