Help! OC with ga-ep45-ed3p e5200 ddr2-1066

Ok so here goes. I'm fairly new to all this, FYI.

I just built my rig with the following specs:
GA-EP45-ED3P
E5200
OCZ Reaper HPC 4GB (2x2GB) DDR2 1066
Sapphire HD4850

I have been trying to overclock it as much as possible but cannot get a stable system with good settings. Right now these settings are causing the system to not pass the post on the first cold boot but once it tries once, it passes.

I appreciate all input. The goal is to get the system using a 400MHz FSB with the RAM at 1066 MHz matched 1:1.

Hint: Ive dealt with 4 different e5200 chips, only one was stable with fsb 333, let alone 400. The one I have currently in my setup maxes at fsb 330 and refuses to go even 1mhz higher. It has high multiplier for a reason, use it.
 
Ok next question is:

Is it better to have a 1:1 matched fsb or to have unmatched memory that is running at 1066mhz?

Or am i missing something and it is possible to have both?
 


Leave it 1:1 until you've reached a stable OC, then change the RAM ratio.
 
I would leave it at 1:1 and keep it that way. With my e5200 on fsb 330 I run my corsair xms2 ram at 1:1 (dd2 660) with low timings and it feels more responsive than if run it at DDR2 960 via ratio and with higher timings. The winXP and crysis maps also load a bit faster. I guess you should try both options and decide which suits you better, but only(like animal said above) after your OCd system is stable.
 
1066 DDR2Ram can handle a 533 FSB, so you will never hit a 1:1 ratio, I would underclock your ram to 800Mhz and tighten up the timings.
 
I have been doing a little research on the e5200 myself and i seem to have found it does not like to go beyond 330~350FSB, might as well just use the high multiplier it came with. I have a P45 chipset also and just picked one of these up to hold me over till i can get some cash together for the q9550. I should be starting my OC'ing this weekend so i'll let you know how its coming!
