Hello tech fans , so today I have a build for you . I am planning to buy a cheap pc for my best friend that can handle first of all cs go ( at ~120 fps )but also some other games at decent framerates (open world / racing games) so here are the maincomponents (all used ) :
-CPU Intel Core 2 Extreme qx6700
-GPU GTX 690
-Ram : 8gb ddr3

My first question is about the motherboard which one should I go for that supports ddr3 ? The second question is the psu (wattage) .The third and final question is about if for less price something better can be done.
Thank You

Few words.

Went with cheap parts while still having good build quality.

Note: PSU is fully wired. For extra $17 you can get semi-modular PSU to ease with cable management.

As far as gaming on it goes, don't get your hopes up. While GPU is decent one and you have plenty or RAM, the CPU shows it's age and may not keep up with the latest games. To put it short, you might bottleneck the CPU.
