Help on a emachine

my emachine will not come on

Hello and welcome to Tom's Hardware Forums!
We need more information to be able to help you. Is it a laptop or a desktop? When you press the power button, do any lights come on at all and/or do you hear any beeps? And a simple but common thing, is it plugged into an outlet that you know is working?
