Help On Budget Gaming Rig

Im building my first computer, it will be a budget gaming pc and i would just like some advice/improvements on the specs im going for

CPU
Intel core i5 4440 LGA 1150

MOTHERBOARD
PRO4 Asrock H87 Intel H87 Chipset LGA 1150

MEMORY
Kingston 8GB 1600Mhz DDR3

PSU
XGR 450w PSU

CASE
Astrum GS 777 full black gaming case

HDD
Western Digital Blue 1TB

GPU
Heres where im not too sure what to go for, ive been looking at the Asus GeForce GT740-2GD3 2Gb 128bit DDR3 card and the Asus Geforce GTX650 1Gb DDR5 card

CD ROM
LG 24x DVD RW Super Multi DVD Drive

MONITOR
Samsung 18.5" Wide LED Monitor

COOLING
3x 120mm fans

OS
Windows 8 64bit
 
You might want to go with a better GPU than both you listed. The amd Radeon 260x is around 130$ (of your in us ) and will perform better than both cards you mentioned.
If you only need the PC for gaming than you might want to go with an i3 and a better GPU like 270x (200$) giving you more bang for buck and better gaming performance
 
Get a H97 board, just because its newer :)

For GPU get at least a 750 Ti or 260X. That GPU is way too underpowered.

And please get rid of that PSU. You are risking your 600$ or something system by using that PSU. Tell us your budget, and we will find something.
 
I live in south africa. Most of my parts are from comx-computers.co.za. My budget is between R8000-R9500. If i go for an AMD gpu wouldn't it be best to also go for an AMD CPU and Motherboard? Ill be using the computer for gaming and light programming.
