Hello forums!

I'm really new to working with desktop components and I'm attempting to build a medium performance gaming PC just as a learning experience and for fun. I'm hoping I can run games like Battlefield 3 with medium settings. I've been researching for a few days and found the components below (all parts and prices found from newegg.com):

• Rosewill Redbone Black Mid Tower Case ($50)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811147159
• ASUS M5A99FX PRO R2.0 AM3+ AMD 990FX + SB950 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard with UEFI BIOS ($134)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131851
• HyperX XMP Blu Red Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 Desktop Memory Model KHX16C9B1RK2/8X ($65)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820104339
• 1TB 7200 rpm HDD ($65)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822148840
• DVDROM/DVD Drive ($20)
• CORSAIR CX series CX430 430W ATX12V v2.3 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply ($45)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139026
• MSI Radeon HD 7770 1GB 128-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 ($110)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127687
• AMD FX-8350 Black Edition Vishera 4.0GHz (4.2GHz Turbo) Socket AM3+ 125W 8-Core Desktop Processor FD8350FRHKBOX ($190)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819113284

The price comes out to about $680... although I would REALLY like it to be lower if possible and not need to sacrifice significant performance. If there are some benevolent geeks out there who would be willing to look over the build and shoot me some advise on any glaring incompatibilities or suggestions, that would be awesome!

Thanks so much!
