Help on choosing a UPS on overclocked i7-950

I would like to ask for help from the community in choosing a replacement UPS for my PC. Right now, i have the APC back up RS 500 (br5000ci-as). I am having a problem with my current UPS because it is constantly beeping (very, very annoying...) whenever I am playing Tomb Raider. I also experienced this when i played battlefield 4 and CoD: Ghost though it should be noted that i rarely experienced the beeping sound in those first person shooters... I encountered the beeping sound first when i overclocked my i7-950 to 4ghz this week when running Intel Burn Test.

APC manual says that the constant beep with LED On means i am experiencing an On Line Overload (power drawn by the connected equipment exceeds the power capacity of the battery back-up)

Should i upgrade my ups? What do you recommend?

As far as I know UPS has nothing to do with OC. And I think you need to replace the battery.

Will an overclocked pc consume more power?

Of course. How old the UPS ? If more than 4 years old, you may need to replace the battery. Or something could be wrong with the electronics inside. If you are in doubt consult a local tech.

And I am repeating again OC has nothing to do with UPS., but SMPS/PSU.

Actually Sir, i tweaked my OC and lowered some volatges... and the ups stopped beeping... Thanks for the help anyway. Godbless!
