Putting a new gaming pc together, i7 9700k, Mobo gigabyte z390 ud, MSI RTX 2070 super gaming x, EVGA 750w PSU, what I have in mind for memory g skill trident z 16 gb(2x8gb) ddr4-3733 MHz, would this be a good option if not please advise what should I choose , also should I pay attention to speed mhz or the latency as which went to pay attention to.

Solution
I wouldn’t recommend that high of speed as you get diminished returns with RAM. 3466-3600 MHz is the sweet spot for intel CPUs with only like a 1% performance reduction going to 3200mhz. Really depends on what you want to pay. I use 3600mhz cas 16, I’d say that’s about good price/performance. If you go 3200 get cas 14. 3466 get cas 15.
