Hey guys, recently I've decided to build myself a pc and through looking arround it seem that i7 3770k is the best arround for value (roughly £240). My question is what would be a good motherboard to pair it with and what cooler?
I will be doing considerable gaming on it as well as general everyday use, maybe even OCing in the future.
As far as I know I will have 16GB 1600Mhz DDR3 Ram...
An SSD ( probably OCz brand as their decently priced)
A 1 or 2TB HDD
And either Crossfire 2 7770s Ghz Edition (2gb) or 7850s (2gb) or get one single 7970 Ghz Edition (which do you would be better please recomend)
Recommendations are welcome but my main questions are Motherboard (price hopefully under £150) CPU Cooler and what GPU (i dont want to spend over £300 for the GPU)

i7s are good CPUs BUT the i5s are better for gaming. i7s are more for heavy rendering etc, if you are mostly gaming get an i5 its cheaper and better for what you are looking for. I know this doesn't answer your question but I figured it would likely help you out.

If you're only going to use it for gaming and general everyday use, then go with the i5-3570K. A good cooler is the Cooler Master Hyper 212 (Plus or Evo). You'll be fine with 8GB. A good motherboard is the ASRock Z77 Extreme4. Go with a single graphics card. And with the money you save go with an SSD from Samsung or Intel.

Edit: The most important thing is to make sure you have a quality PSU with enough power for your system.

Well I will be doing some weekly video redering and etc for my youtube channel and etc so i thought i7 would be faster at it.
plus the price diff is roughly 90 quid so 90 quid for bit more future proofing seems decent to pay as i7 3770k is pretty much top end of i7s atm.

for psu i was thinking near 750+ watts range or higher

Yea then your gonna want the i7. I wanted to suggest the I7 but some noobs here like to bash a person for recommending a i7 when the original poster said gaming everyone thinks I5.. but the original poster may need more than a i5.

So I7, 7950, 7970, or 680.

what about the ASRock Z77 Extreme6? its only £20 more than Extreme4 on amazon.. What about a CPU cooler and liquid or air? what OCs am I looking at for air and Liquid?

You wanted to but you didn't. Who wouldn't right? The original poster should've mentioned weekly video rendering instead of general everyday use.

what cooler would i be looking at? for the air one?

Cant find the CM V6 on amazon so that one is out. What about PSUs cause i see loads but im not sure which are reliable and is modular psu something to consider?
