I need some help to be a 100% sure on the graphics card to buy that I'll be confident for the time to come in the future.

All I run is 1080p and nothing more but I can consider getting a 1440p monitor in the future. As for now I want to get a card that I can rely on maxing out 1080p for years to come in gaming. My budget is around the $500 to $550 range.

Thanks!

These prices are the lowest i could find for each card, if you want to max out 1080p with the most demanding games just released get the GTX 970, the 980 should
max out 1080p for maybe a two or three years. The gtx 980ti for about 4-5 years. Im...

I recommend getting the GTX 970 for now. In the future when you need an upgrade nvidia and amd would have released more advanced line of cards and they would be better to replace it with and itll come cheaper

Solution

Went out and purchased the 970 yesterday and about to put it in today. Seen a few places saying it'll be able to max 1080p for the next 3 years with only giving up some FXAA and MSAA.

Thanks for the help!
