Question Help on new build

New Build. MSI B650 Edge Wifi, AMD7 7700. Am getting red and white light on EZ Debug on Mobo to signify CPU and DRAM. Cannot get BIOS on screen. Have only 1 stick of memory in at the present time, only connections: Graphics card, Keyboard and Mouse. Any thoughts will be appreciated.

The manual says:
Red is CPU not detected or failure which is pretty straightforward.

White is GPU not detected or failure which is probably linked to the CPU debug rather than there being something wrong with your graphics card.

I'd suggest pulling the CPU out and making sure there aren't any pins on the motherboard bent or broken and that there aren't any smudges or discoloration on the CPU pads. If there's no obvious physical issues reinstall it and the cooler then see if it boots. At that point if it still doesn't I'd say you have either a bad CPU or motherboard. If you do not have a way to test the two yourself I'd suggest RMA on the CPU first.

probly a bad motherboard msi motherboards are pure garbage would not recomend them i have had 3 msi motherboards all with faulty ram lanes on the board.

you can try reseating the ram make sure its in the correct boot slot which is normally ram slot 2

other things to try reseating the cpu.
