Hi

I was wondering, If if could overclock my NVIDIA gt 640 2gb.
It is the ASUS brand, has a core clock of 901MHz, a memory clock of 1782MHz. It has a shader core clock of 1802MHz but for some reason in MSI afterburner, I have the legacy skin and shader clock is there but it is grayed out and won't let me change it?

Anything is appreciated except hate.

Thanks.

Your point?
Anyways You wont get too far trying to overclock that gpu due to being kinda low end. Still go for it though. Its already been said but just up the core clock some. Be careful and only up a little at a time then test for stability and temps. I use furmark for that. I usually let it run for about 15-20 minutes to make sure its working good and when I have reached what I believe to be a good overclock I let furmark run for about 30 minutes or more

Thank you very much! But is it OK to use MSI afterburner instead of GPU tweak? I like Afterburner more..

i havent try that. But you should use ASUS GPU TWEAK for overclocking. If you realy want Afterburner then you have to change your GPU to MSI brand..
