Help on setup for photo and video business

Good day everyone.
As the thread title says, I'm here for help on equipment for setting up a photo and video business in Nigeria (important info - power supply is unsteady here, might factor into purchase suggestions?).

I have some recommendations already, as I list below. Any and all help will be appreciated.

First off,
I need a camera. I'm looking at the Panasonic Lumix DMC FZ-1000. From reports and reviews it seems to be a near perfect all-rounder at a very reasonable price. Not exactly fully professional, but it's a good starter, I think.

Second:
I need a computer. Obviously a laptop due to aforementioned power issues, and value proposition. Will add a video crunching workstation later. Looking at something with quad core and dedicated graphics. Not too concerned about the screen because I am getting a monitor, below.

A good monitor for editing. The Dell U2415 is looking fine. Also the U2414H.
