I have a Acer Aspire X3990 Desktop PC (Intel Core i7 2600 3.4GHz, 6GB RAM, 1TB HDD, DVD-RW, WLAN, Windows 7 Home Premium) with a 220w power supply and I would like to upgrade it so that it would be able to used for gaming. As it is a mini computer I won't be able to put in a normal graphics card so I was wondering whats the best way of upgrading it so I can play games? (Id like to be able to run skyrim on ultra etc.)

Thanks :)

Would it be easier to get a new case to get a standard graphics card with a new power supply? If I did this, would I need a new motherboard? :)

That could be an option but you would spend a lot of money, you might need a new MoBo(depends on what GPU you're going to buy) a new power supply plus the new Case and GPU.

So if I wanted to get a Asus Nvidia GeForce GTX 750 Ti Graphics Card (2GB, GDDR5, PCI-Express 3.0) would I need to get a new MoBo? if I got this card, a new case and a new PSU :) (sorry about the re-post)

My motherboard is the stock motherboard that comes with an Acer Aspire 3990, will I need to upgrade it? :/

I've found that the motherboard is an Intel H61, will this fit a Asus Nvidia GeForce GTX 750 Ti? :)

Hi could you tell if you replaced the videocard geforce gtx 750ti kfa2 oc 2gb gddr5 on your acer aspire x3990 because im thinking the same way to do it how youre doing it now
