I basically have a wifi connection, at the moment I am using wired because its just so much better (on wireles I get ping spikes etc etc) however using wired is not practical as the cable is about 50 metres and is spanning across the whole of the house due to the router location.
Thats what wireless adapter im using
TP-LINK TL-WN851ND 300Mbps Wireless N PCI Adapter
I'm on the sky 36mbps package or whatever so not the best deal. A friend told me about an adapter which can plug into the wall and you can run an ethernet from that to the pc, and it works near enough like wired, so I have a few questions. I have tried to google search this and I cannot find anything because i dont know what they are called.
Are they real? If so are they worth it.
If so, could you kindly point me in the right direction in where to find a good one.
