Question Help! only hear "beep" noises when connecting microphone on the front pannel.

Dec 24, 2018
Hello, yesterday finally my computer arrived, I'm really happy to finally be part of the community.

Anyways, since the beginning I had problems with the audio on the front panel. I used driver easy to download the drivers but it didn't download the drivers for the front panel audio.

So, after digging on my motherboard manual, I discovered that it needed Realtek alc887 drivers to work. After installing that, the audio worked fine, except for the microphone.

The Realtek HD Audio Manager has a feature to listen what the microphone hears, so that's when I discovered my voice was not being recorded but I could here like a sort of "beep" instead.

I already looked for solutions on internet, but I couldn't find something that worked.

The back panel audio and microphone jacks work well, and they have from the moment I turned my PC on.

Here is my dxdiag: https://pastebin.com/ybT70BPz

Thank you!!
