I'm looking to upgrade my build and because I am still relatively new after only a year of doing this on my own, I was hoping you guys could give me advice or point out any compatibility problems?

CPU: Intel i5 4670K (Upgrade to 6600K)

GPU: GTX 770 4GB ( Looking to upgrade to GTX 980ti)

RAM: ADATA XPG V2 8GB (2 x 4GB)

MOTHERBOARD: ASROCK Z87 Killer

POWER SUPPLY: Corsair CX750W

HDD: Toshiba 2TB 7200RPM 64MB SATA3

SSD: Samsung 850 EVO (Don't know what size I want my GB to be.)

CASE:NZXT S340 Black

I also have an ASETEK550LC Liquid Cooling setup that I had someone else install for me, and I am kinda scared to fuck with it. So I might just buy some new fans.

Solution
first of all you'd need a new motherboard and new ram to upgrade the cpu. FURTHERMORE there is almost no improvement going to skylake.

I would replace that trash PSU and the gpu. that will do more for your pc then swapping the cpu/ram and motherboard

Thanks, and that is why I was looking at the 980 ti's because when that comes out I figure their prices will drop a little.

Damn, is the PSU that bad? And I can't believe I forgot about the fact that I would need a new mobo for that. Appreciate all of the honesty by the way. I guess I should just stick to fixing my GPU and power supply then. Would it work fine with the CPU and RAM I'm working with?

yep. literally 5% difference from your system to a "top of the line" skylake system.
