Help overclcoking the gtx 780

I attempted a fairly modest overclock of +100 and +135 on the core an memory clocks of my reference gtx 780 respectively for testing purposes and I cannot seem to go beyond that without the display drivers crashing. I see people with overclocks exceeding +180 and +300 respectively at times but I cannot reach anywhere close to those speeds despite having upped the voltage and power to the max amount. Is there a problem with my card or is this normal?

Note: I have a fairly rigorous fan curve set up and the temps have never gone beyond 70 C in game with the overclock, in case that might be an issue.

it's normal to have variance between cards and their ability to overclock. Your card just does not have the ability to achieve that high overclock.

I understand but is there nothing I could do? Could this possibly be the caused by an inadequate PSU that is not able to supply the high voltage demands? I have the Corsair TX-750M in this build.
