Help overclocking Corsair Vengeance 2x8GB DDR4 2400mhz

I'm trying to overclock 2x8GB of Corsair Vengeance memory. I have never OC'd ram before and so I'm looking for any other results from overclocking this type of memory.

If you are on an intel platform, you will see almost zero performance increase when overclocking 2400mhz RAM. It would be extremely application specific on programs that are super sensitive to memory bandwidth.

I would just use an XMP profile and roll on.

I'm running i5 6600k. That's great info cause I had no idea. I only wanted to OC RAM because on the Corsair product page (the link i posted) says that this memory is designed for overclocking. But you're comment made me think about it again and am not sure if I would keep the OC. Also it looks to be more complicated than overclocking either GPU or CPU.
It would still be great to get some OC info on this RAM. I would like to try to OC my first RAM just for the experience , even if I go back to stock.
