HELP! overclocking my ram

😱 can someone help me overclock my ram?

My ram is a RIPJAWS X F3-12800CL9-8GBXL (2 sticks) and its stock speed is 1600mhz. my motherboard is a GIGABYTE F2A75M- D3H.

My rig is an APU DUAL GRAPHICS setup so its better to have higher ram speeds to attain maximum performance from the iGPU. so is it possible to overclock my ram? from 1600mhz to 1866mhz?
if yes, how? please give me a step by step procedure for i'm new in overclocking 😀 TIA!

Set the frequency to 1866MHz with the timings at 10-10-10-27 and voltage at 1.55v.
If you experience any crashes go with a lower voltage like 1.525 or a higher timing.

Overclocking ram from 1600MHz gives an insignificant boost, although it may cause system instability if not properly configured and decreases the life span of the cards.

Thank you for your reply. Ill try that timings in a while.. in APU machines faster ram speeds can make a difference really :| because the speed of the integrated graphics from the APU is dependent with the speed of the ram.

Oh yeah they can't have VRAM so they use the desktop memory. Either way just be careful as you proceed. Improper voltage settings can damage your ram cards.

I just tried the timings and voltage that you suggested(1866MHZ @ 10-10-10-27 1.55v). so far everything is stable. no BSOD, crashes in games, random shutdowns etc. Thank you very much! can i ask one more question? uhm how can i know if the ram is already running at 1866mhz? im alittle confused with the interface of CPUZ. here is the screenshot

You see the dram frequency in that image, multiply it by 2 and you'll get your frequency.

Note. When you set the ram frequency (like 1600MHz) it is not exactly 1600MHz it may differ by some digits like in your case the speed is 1863 and not 1866
