I need help overclocking the E4500. I have the M0 stepping. But i'm having problems aiming for my goal.

My hardware are:

- Asus P5K-E Motherboard (Not the Wi-Fi Edition)

- Intel E4500

- OCZ 2GB DDR2 PC2-6400 Platinum Revision 2 Dual Channel

- Cooler Master Hyper TX2 CPU Cooler

My current computer specs are:

CPU - 3.0 ghz (10 x 300) @ 1.375 volts

Memory - 2 GB @ 1000 mhz (3:5 Ratio) and volts are 2.0

Can someone please help me overclocking my system?

My goal is the CPU @ 11 x 300

and memory at least 1000 mhz but goal is 1200

Thank you =)

Since all data to/from RAM has to go through the FSB, it doesn't really help to run the memory bus faster than 1/2 the FSB throughput. Since you are running a 1200MHz FSB datarate, you should be running your RAM at DDR2-600 speed (in dual channel mode, this equals a 1200MHz datarate, matching the FSB).
Running your RAM at such a "normal" speed will likely help you boost your FSB further.
