Question (Help!)PC audio and video stuttering

Currently running windows 10 home 64-bit

experiencing major audio and video stuttering.

Happens in all applications chrome, Spotify, etc

Tried updating the audio driver, graphics card driver, and windows. Didn't go away.

After a windows restart the stuttering goes away temporarily.

Also starting experiencing occasional complete windows freeze. Only option is to power off the pc.

Check and see which BIOS version you're on for your platform. You can do this by going into the BIOS screen of your platform or using CPU-Z. I'd advise in uninstalling your audio drivers first and then reinstalling them. Also, how are you consuming your audio content? Headphones or a speaker set? Make and model of the speakers and how you're connected to the them?

Im running American Megatrends Inc (Version 2201)

Whether i use headphones or speakers I have the same problem. I even get the problem through both pairs of my headphones. . I mainly use a Sennheiser HD 598 it uses the 3.5mm jack.
