I want to switch from my current asus s56c laptop to a desktop. Budget is around 1000$ for it all

I will use it for photoshop, illustrator, inDesign, streaming videos, Hearthstone game and office use.

I will need everything, from keyboard to monitor and windows 10 licence.

I want the case to be as small as possible without compromising future upgrades (it's never going to be used for gaming). I like the white cases better.

My current laptop has SSD and I love it, so the build HAS to have SSD.

I'm from Canada so I'm mostly looking for canadian sellers.

Thanks! Looking forward to your suggestions :)

Solution
Compatible but not optimized. Cooler not needed as stock cooler is enough. 12gb OS is enough for OS drive. For your 3d work you need more ram. PSU is not a very good unit. Keyboard/mouse/monitor missing from the build.
Anyways, i have optimized it for you. Its a little over budget but this should last you for a while.

Thanks for helping me! I was quite lost browsing for the right computer parts >_< I noticed you went for a more powerfull video card. I will not be doing any 3D rendering, just plain vectors and photos. Does that change anything from your list? Also, I think I can boost the budget a little higher if I include the monitor. Let's say 1000$ without monitor (figured I'd pick one up on Boxing Day at my local Best Buy)

Great! Thanks guys, I'm almost ordering the parts. I've got a stupid question... will I need access to a cd/dvd reader to install the components' drivers? O_O!!
