[SOLVED] HELP pc won’t boot up

Doing this on my phone. Shutdown pc last night and did a windows update, now my pc can’t boot up, it’s just a blue black screen that turns grey slowly. Not a monitor issue, checked everything is secure inside the case nothing is loose. I can only think it’s the gpu or power supply, most likely the former.

I get that and then the screen looks like to power down and then flashes the same screen back on and then slowly fades grey.

I can’t do anything on start up. Maybe it’s the monitor? I tried switching desktops and I’m getting the same screen changed the display cable same thing. I plugged my display cable into the motherboard and it just displays the asleep screen

With the psu unplugged remove the watch type battery from your mobo and hold the power button on your case for 30s x2 the reseat your battery and psu cable try to boot system.

Then you psu maybe failing to provide proper power. Or mobo is failing

I have had power supply issues before this where if I make the desk move the pc would continue to run, I could hear sound but the screen would fall asleep and I would have to restart. Probably contributing to this

I also tried an entirely different desktop not changing the power cable. I’ll try changing the power cable

Yes psu is done

I checked the power cable and it has a break in the cable. Swapped the cable and it turned on fine. I’ll probably monitor it just in case the power supply is also faulty. Ty for help.

There it is at least wasn't the psu it'self
