So i just bought this: https://www.gskill.com/product/165/170/1564381714/F4-3200C16D-16GFX

To replace this: https://www.teamgroupinc.com/en/product/elite-plus-u-dimm-ddr4 (2x4GB 2666MHz version)

My mobo is: https://www.asrock.com/mb/AMD/B450M-HDV/index.asp

Did i do something wrong? maybe incompatible ram? or defect product? because before buying i already do some research and it should be no problem.

From G.Skill website my mobo is in their QVL list, but strangely from Asrock website itself this memory is not in their QVL list? why is that?

I already tried several known fixes like clear CMOS or tried with one memory at one time. nothing works.

I already sold my old memory, so i can't go back testing with them again.

Please help me what should i do then?

Solution
Try using one stick of ram at a time. Try to post. Then if it dosn't post repeat with the other stick. This is to make sure you don't have just one stick of bad ram.

* Sorry hit enter, Your cpu is a Raven RIdge so you have to cross reference the Raven Ridge memory. Which your memory is not.

But the seller's say this should not be a problem because when first installed every ram will run at default speed that is 2133 before you set it higher later. i kinda trust him because he is one biggest reputable seller in my country.

Or well he can be wrong too...

I already chat with him asking if this product can be refunded or returned later, he say i can't. the only solution is send a warranty claim tomorrow.. it is possible that i got unlucky with defected product.
