So I recently build a pc with a R5 2600x and a GTX 1660s and the only thing left is the case. The thing is that in my country (Colombia) is quite hard to find something good with nice airflow at a reasonable price and I ended up with two options:
The interior is literally the same, and both have 2 odd bays in the front. Yhe only differeces are in the front panel, the Environ one has the buttons and ports in the front panel itself and the mesh has this angled finish (which i don't know if that would be problem to installing an odd or a fan monitor), while the other one (Delirium) has the buttons and ports on the top of the case and it's very exposed at the interior of the case, has a extremely tiny reset button and has a flat and larger front mesh.

They're both the same price and i would like two know which one do you guys think would be the best option, since i'm worried about messing or breaking the front panel of the Delirium and not being able to properly instal a 5.25'' drive in the Environ

Thank you so much for the help and sorry for the broken english, btw xD

It probably doesn't matter. The one with the angled mesh MIGHT be a little bit quieter or a little bit louder, since the airflow will be broken up differently, but truthfully probably not enough to even matter. We've been using flat full mesh front panels for as long as people have been doing case mods, which is a lot longer than they've been available ON the case out of the box, without any troubles.

Get whichever one appeals more to your sense of style, because there is not going to be an appreciable difference in any other measurable way.

You're right. But i would like to know if i could easily install a fan monitor or a dvd drive in the angled one without it letting some kind of uneveness in the front and/or some part of the drive exposed.

Yes, it would be fine. They would not be selling them with removeable drive bays there if there was a problem and we've seen cases with far more abnormally shaped front panels that worked fine with optical drives installed. I don't even see anything for you to be concerned about. You are trying to create a problem where none exists.

As far as fan monitoring goes, mostly that happens on the desktop these days. There is really little to no need for any kind of 5.5" drive bay mounted monitoring device. It can all be done from the desktop using modern motherboards and built in sensors.
