Help picking a MoBo

So I am building my first computer. I am trying to find a motherboard to go with an intel i5 4690K. Although I would like to keep the mother board under $100 with out losing too much. Any help would be great!

your 4690k deserves something good.. I like z97-a open box for 88.59..everthing else is meh

I am trying to keep the whole build for under a 1000. I am bound to the i4690K, and a 4gb 970 gpu. That makes my other options kinda limited... Thanks, I think I am going to buy it!

4690k AND A GTX 970!!!!.... go with the asus z97-a board I KNOW you will want to overclock that puppy... with that board you can!!!!

Oh absolutely! Thats why I went with the 4690K. I was hoping to push that thing up to atleast 4.4 ghz

the I only have one thing to say...GO BIG OR GO HOME!!!!!! you will not be happy if you sacrifice on the motherboard to much and cant do what you want to with that processor. I went crazy with mine(ASUS VII FORMULA Z97).. many overclockers talk about the z97-A being a solid overclocking board without paying $250 or more for a board.... the choice is yours man...

Ya thats honestly my biggest fear right now is to spend money on a piece thats almost doing me an injustice to the other hardware, and not optimizing what I have!
