Help picking a PSU? Two options

Need some help picking a PSU.

The two choices are:

(This one has a 20$ mail in rebate - im not sure how good corsair MIR are) - 37.99$ after MIR

or

Evga 500B - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817438012
44.99$

You mean the gigabyte? So I should go with the Gigabyte mobo and the Evga PSU? Just clearing it up. Also thank you so much for your help!

Now say I wanted to just overclock my GPU not my CPU, would the Evga be sufficient for that?

I always go a little overkill, knowing ahead of time that I plan on overclocking and that it may not be the last vidcard/cpu the powersupply will see in it life.

Blackbird, do you feel that quality is better on the EVGA as opposed to corsair or is it personal preference.

Fantastic! From my research the r9 270 loves to be overclocked so I was hoping I would be able to do that with the Evga power supply I have picked out. Thank you so much for your help!

The Corsair CX and VS series are very cheap , I would never recommend them. I like Corsair AX and HX supplies .The TX version 2 supplies made by Seasaonic are also solid.

Definitely! But as of now I only plan on overclocking the GPU so from your previous answer it seems I should be safe with the Evga 500w.
