Hello friends,

I'm looking to purchase a new monitor between (300-600$) for the release of Fallout 4. I would like something in the 27" range, IPS or PLS, a Refresh Rate (GTG) of 5ms or less, 1440p resolution and potentially G-Sync (GTX 970 GPU). This would be mainly for gaming, with photo editing as a second consideration.

Currently I am looking at the ASUS PB278Q (~400$) and PG278Q(~650$)

G-Sync isn't absolutely crucial for the monitor but because I am using a Nvivdia card, Freesync monitors are too expensive with no real advantage.

From what I've gathered, there are not many G-sync 27" 1440p monitors out there at the moment.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

any guess as what the price of the PG279Q might be?
And is G-SYNC worth it?
