Question Help picking an motherboard for zen4

Hi,

Doing a new AMD build but want some advice on witch motherboard to go for:

ASUS TUF Gaming X670E-Plus WIFI
Or
MSI MPG X670E CARBON WIFI

The MSI board is about 120 more than the TUF. The TUF has all the features I want but some of the user reviews say the VRMs are not the best and that the NVME drives get quite hot – my room gets quite hot in the summer so I want something that will be ok with higher temps. Anyone have any hands-on experience with either and witch would you recommend?

I am going to be pairing the board with an AMD 7050x.

Do you need to go with an X670 chipset? What sort of tasks will you tax the proposed build with?

Both of these should work fine, and heat depends on what hardware you use.

The main tasks are: video editing, Photoshop and dealing with some very big excel files. Besides work I will use the computer for gaming but I understand the CPU is overkill for that.

The NVME drive I have is 2TB Seagate Firecuda 530.
