So I have my computer inside of a cabinet and it can get hot in there.

My idea is to cut out the front panel of cabinet door and replace with metal mesh and then use two small fans I have with a temperature gauge to active fans when it gets to certain temperature. I want the fans to be side by side so I want to put something flat on the computer and then the fans on that.

I'm thinking of using plexiglass but wasn't sure if that was a good idea or not due to temperature in there or possible electric conduction. Any advice or alternatives?

Already louvered, so wouldn't detract from the look that way.

Consider one or two cabinet fans installed around the side or back of the cabinet itself to pull air in/exhaust air out.
Unfortunately it's fake louvered. No openings in it. Just completely solid. That's why I'm going to take that part out. I have two small fans ready to go in there to help circulate more. Just wasn't sure if plexiglass would be okay to use for stands and stuff
