Looking for some recommendations for a new pair of monitors for my setup since I just get confused at whats good when I try to look myself. I'm in the looking stage since mine still work for now I just want to get something newer. As far as what I'm looking for:

- 1080p still for now I think since I'm sure my setup now could probably do 1440p but maybe not to a performance level I'd be happy with meaning my PC doesn't struggle with it. Plus the cost of the monitors from what I've seen and not wanting to really upgrade anything just to do 1440p right now.
- Size I'll have to stick with a 24" since I don't have the desk space to do 2 27" monitors like I'd would like

I don't do any heavy or competitive gaming, for example the next 2 games I'm looking to play on my PC is Jedi Survivor and Alan Wake 2. Production wise I do work in 3D (3ds Max, Unreal, Substance Painter, Photoshop CS5, Da Vinci Resolve, etc.)

Current specs:

CPU: Ryzen 7 5700 X
RAM: 32 GB Ripjaw V F4-3200C16D-16GVKB (4 sticks, 8gb each)
Motherboard: MSI MAG B550 Tomahawk
Graphics: EVGA 2070 Super
Current Monitors: ASUS VN247H-P

Budget wise I don't have anything set in stone but ideally I'd like to be no more than $200 per monitor but I want something of good quality so if it's a little over I can try and work with that.

It sounds like most of your computer time will be spent working on projects. If you need color accuracy and features for professional users, I would look toward the Asus ProArt PA248QV. This monitor has a Delta E of less than two out of the box, and 100% Rec 709 and sRGB coverage for maximum flexibility and accuracy at a competitive price. It's currently on sale for less than 200 dollars.

If you want something a little more gaming focused, with high refresh rates and low response times, a great monitor to look at is the Acer Predator XB253Q. It is a hair larger than 24 inches, but has 240Hz refersh rate, 1ms response time, and HDR 400 certification. This monitor is a little over budget, at 250 dollars, but if you are looking for a gaming oriented monitor this one is hard to beat for the price. Hope this helped, take care.
