i need help with my new build..
when i OC it to 3.02GHz, i always get BSOD......


asus m2n32 deluxe wireless edition
AMD Athlon 5000+ black edition
2GB's G. skill DDR ram

would anyone know?

Check your CPU voltage. Raise it if possible.

In CPU-Z you will see what speed it's at. Where your FSB speed and CPU speed is.

If you keep getting BSOD, reset the the BIOS to factory defaults, and then you can try overclocking again. Just make incremnetal changes in the multiplier, and the very small changes in voltage. Just follow the overclocking guide here http://www.tomshardware.com/2007/10/22/budget_overclocker/

can you lock your pci bus to 100 what kind of harddrive

In CPU-Z you will see what speed it's at. Where your FSB speed and CPU speed is.

it is at 1004.6MHz

Your HT speed is within limits. Definately not what's causing your BSOD.
