OK. There is something really wrong with my computer, and I don't know what to do. The problem is when I insert a disk to my CD-ROM, the computer will restart automatically. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I'm currently using Win Me. Before I used Win 98, it had the same problem too. I have 2 CD-ROM, and both of them have the same problem, I don't think it's the CD-ROM's problem. Maybe there is something wrong with the operation system or the mainboard. But I'm not sure. So I ask for your help, please!

You can contact with me through e-mail, my e-mail address is roland8454@yeah.net. Thank you very much!

I had the exact same problem. Replacing my PSU solved it. I have no idea what was going on, but I suspect an intermittent short or power dip.

There something more I should mention:
My second CD-ROM is a CD-RW Drive, it's working well while burning a CD but it will restart when it reads a normal CD.

A PSU is a Power Supply Unit. The most recommended is 300Watt or greater. Try not to buy a cheap one. Try to either buy an Enermax or a Sparkle Power Supply. Cheap PSU's don't have a high enough amperage to keep your system running properly, but a good name brand PSU does. You can go to Newegg an pick one up.
