Help please, i have installed 4x4gb ram dimms but only 7,9 GB avaible

So I just installed 4 GB og DDR3 ram and IT should add Up to 16 but only half is actually being used whats gives

dude don't worry a lot of RAMS uses 7.9 or even less .

have you tried swapping the ram? i mean just get 1 or 2 out and see if it works

Yea i tried swapping Them around, just to bedste clear do you want me to start Up on 2 at the time to just swapping Them

have you tried swapping the ram? i mean just get 1 or 2 out and see if it works

i mean it boots fine, but when i get task manager out, it says 7.9/8 thats cool, if it didnt say 7.9/16 when i put all 4 in ... im getting annoyed... :C
