HELP,PLEASE new dell desktop, how can i install window 7 to SSD

1. If you are doing a clean install to the SSD, you just connect the SSD to the motherboard, put the Win7 disk in the DVD drive, and restart the machine. When the install begins you might have to select which hard drive to install to.

2. If you are moving your existing Win7 install to the SSD, then you need a program to clone the hard drive to the SSD. Connect the SSD to the motherboard, start the computer, start the clone program, tell it which drive to copy to which drive. There are lots of clone programs available, one popular one is Acronis.

You have to be careful with these methods if you have more than one drive installed in the computer. Be sure to choose the right drive to copy from and the right drive to copy to. I would also advise backing up any important data prior to this operation.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH
