I have the Qnix 27 inch monitor with only DVI connectivity and there are zero DVI connectors on the back of the 5700 I have. There are HDMI and display port though can I use some sort of DVI to display port adapter? Will anything like that work seeing how there's no scaler for this monitor? These Korean monitors are picky

Solution
Officially, no.

Due to the lack of a scaler, the QNIX does require DVI-D as the input source, adapters won't work, and consoles are not compatible with this monitor.

There's not a single 5700 or XT with DVI.

HOWEVER, a true "active" DP to DVI-Dual adapter should work....
Single-link should be fine for 2560x1440 @ 60Hz max, and an adapter should set you back <$20 (see link above) but, if you want >60Hz, you'll need Dual-Link DVI and those are going to set you back anywhere from $50 - $100.

With all that being said, it's probably time to sell the monitor and pick up something
