Help Please!!!!!

hey there!! i have a couple problem recently with my new built and i wanna know if anyone can help me please, here is the following problems:
-PC cannot sleep ( When i put it to sleep it restarts and says the system didn't shut down properly,boot in safe mode or normal mode etc. ) or ( it get the BSOD )

-When currents goes off it restarts also and i have a ups with battery ( and the battery seems to be working!!!!)


SO IF ANYONE CAN, PLEASE HELP!!!

What motherboard do you have is it an ASUS by any chance?

its an MSI K9A2GM FV2

u sure... maybe i made a mistake its is ( reading from the box ) MSI k9a2gm v2 Its is not really a popular board,and it is also very cheap

His board was easy to find on MSI's website, and I've never been to their site before.

It really is a cheap board, I can't get the cpu support list to load, but in the overview it says AM3 max 65W is supported. I think you mentioned in another thread your using a Phenom II X2, which from what I can tell isn't officially supported by your motherboard. Might be the cause of the problems, I'm not really sure though.

I did a quick search by copying and pasteing it and got no results I didnt really try that hard to search the site manually. Its funny though you say you never been there before but then you contradict yourself by saying "I've never had this problem before with this website" I take this as you come to the site all the time. :lol:

I think you may be able to up the cpu voltage in the BIOs
(might make your cpu run hotter)
