Hi i have a ntel (R) Core (TM) 2 Quad CPU Q6600 @ 2.4GHz i currently had 2GB of memory (RAM) i have just installed a further 2 GB my windows rating has went up to 5.5 to 7.1 to it is comin up in brackets by my memory INSTALLED MEMORY: 4GB AND IN BRACKETS (3.25GB USABLE) WHY IS THIS? THANKS

32bit OS can only manage 3.5 to 4 gigs of virtual memory and that includes your video cards memory so I am guessing you have a 256 MB video card. A 64bit OS will fix this problem.

no i have a 1 GB radeon hd 4670 graphics card

Well are you running a 32bit version of windows? If so get a 64bit version.
