Help please

Hi, I am not much into hardware so I am kinda desperate here I bought a Winfast A380 Ultra
2 days ago and installed it to my system. Since then my system keeps crashing or stalling 3D applications
*games* like UT2004, FFXI, etc. I have tried the latest official drivers from NVidia (56.72), as well as
the latest unofficial (61.11). Both with the same result. Games keep crashing all out of a sudden,
I cant reproduce them or determine what exaclty is the reason for these crashes. Just all of a sudden
the Game closes.

My system
Mainboard: Epox EP-8RDA3 Nforce2 Ultra 400 (up to date bios)
CPU : AMD3000+ Barton 333FSP
Grafix : WINFAST A380 Ultra TDH My Vivo Edition

Can anyone help me find out whats the reason for this ?

Was your previous card a Radeon? If so, unistall all of the drivers from it. If you don't mind you could reformat your hard drive after saving all of your important documents and anything else you want. And then doing a fresh install of everything.

No, the old card was a Herkules Prophet3 Ti200.
I REinstalled the drivers right after the card was build in.

Guess I´ll have to go with the complete reinstall ....

Power supply : 420watts tower came with the board and cpu /ram / HD
