How old is that?
Judging by available drivers:

It may be time for something a little newer.

A google for "HP 7596A drivers" comes up with a couple hundred hits.

You could try the drivers for Draft Master SX, MX and RX included in XP.

For some reason, I can't post a question, so I'm asking for help this way.
I'm trying to use 8 cd's from hp for recovery. I don't care about saving
data, I'll start fresh. When the 8 cd's are done I get the message, "cannot
format user partition" recovery cannot continue. When I start without the
cd's, I get the message, "NTLDR is missing" I'd really appreciate any help.
