I can receive e-mail, but I cannot send it. What type of e-mail server may becausing the problem

You need to configure the outgoing mail server (SMTP) in your email client, Thunderbird? Thunderbird has a wizard if you use that.

Check your ISP website for details on what port and server address they require and whether they use secure connections.
