Hello, I wasn't too sure where to go to ask this question but I thought I'd give tomshardware a try.
My ps4 pro is about 3 years old and the fan has been getting really loud. Wolfenstein and Modern Warfare both made my PS4 pro auto-shutdown from heating. I put my PS4 in a more open location and the heating shut downs stopped but the fan is still running very high.
I looked into suggested solutions and saw that replacing the thermal pads and paste near the motherboard helped some people. Such as this video :

I bought Arctic MX-4 thermal compound paste and thermal grizzly pads to replace it on. However, I am a noob when it comes to messing with electronic hardware and I'm a bit worried I am going to break my PS4 and void the warranty.
Any tips or suggestions? I'm not sure if I should go through with this or just try to send it in to a PS4 repair center. I much rather do it myself, but I'd like to know if the risk of breaking my PS4 is high or not.
Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks to any replies.
