My power source unit is making strange noises and quite annoying vibrations was a AeroCool KCAS 600W 80 Plus Bronze, now I have decided on a Thermaltake Smart SE 530W Modular. Is that a good change?

Thanks!

Solution

If you wanna stay on budget but still get pretty decent PSUs:
You can go with:
- The gray-labeled Corsair 550W CX or CXM
- SeaSonic S12 520W, M12 520W, any from G series
- SuperNOVA G2 550W
- XFX TS 550W

I spend 45€ on a sale, I know that PSU it´s tier 4 I just hope it's better than the kcas. I have an RX 580 Sapphire 8gb, R5 1600 (not OC), 2X4 Gb Kingston Fury ram at 2666.

Thaks for your answer!

Okayish buy IMHO... It's almost never a good idea to cheap out on PSUs...
But since you got it already, you might just stay with it. But be aware that it isn't much better(if at all) than the AeroCool you had. Try not to push it with OCs and it will work.

Thanks for your answers, you leave me much more at ease, although I know you're right but I don't have the budget for a better one. Which would you recommend for the future?
