Hi all. I just want to if i can blame the store that sold me my psu for ruining my card.

So. I went to the store to buy a new psu and i got recomended an tooq ecopower 2 550w.

About one month later the computer started to crash. Later i found out it was indeed a psu problem and sent it to warranty.

They told me that it was indeed an psu problem and refunded my money.

So i got an Corsair vs550. When i got home it surprised me that my graphics card didnt show any image.

So my card it ruined and i think it was their fault because they sold me something cheapy.

Can it be their fault? Thanks in advance

The card is an xfx 7870 ghost

Unfortunately, that's not enough. There is no way to verify it wasn't a coincidence.

Unfortunately, I don't think there is much chance of this happening. It would be very difficult to prove that it was the power supply that caused the fault in the graphics card beyond reasonable doubt.

Additionally, it was only a recommendation. Ultimately, it was your decision to make the purchase based on the information you had.
