Help purchasing a headphone/headset

Hello TH!

So, my cat ate my cable on my Sennheiser PC 350's, damn pet.
And since Sennheiser does not have spare parts for the headset, I'm kinda requiring a new headset or headphone/microphone combo.

I'm using a Xonar Essence STX soundcard, so I should be able to drive most headphones out there.

I've been looking all over the internet for headphones and headsets, but I just can't seem to find the right thing.

They'll be mainly used for gaming.

I sit in a quite noisy room, so having them be isolated will be a huge plus.

Budget is around $350.

Any ideas?

I'd recommend the AKG K7XX currently on massdrop for only $200, they are comparable to the Sennheiser 600 series.

That's a pretty nice site. But the headphones are open, and I would prefer closed.
