Hello people, I have a question about a future GPU buy, in the moment I have a ASUS - TURBO GTX960 and I'm thinking in buying a GeForce GTX 1060 AERO ITX 6G but I don't know if my desktop is compatible with that GPU. My concern is that the motherboard is not compatible with the new GPU or if the power supply doesn't work with the new GPU, someone who understands about this can help me? Thanks!

I have run some tests and I know I have the following components:

H170A PC MATE (MS-7971) - Motherboard
Thermaltake Litepower 550W (I think because it says 230 only on the back)
I7-6700 3.4 ghz
1 tb HDD
16 GB RAM
ASUS - TURBO GTX960

Solution
Should be fine. Both 6-pin power. Not really much difference between 900 series and 10 series when it comes to compatibility. Basically just need a PCIe slot, and your CPU/Motherboard is certainly new enough to have UEFI so you should be able to run any GPU as long as you have the appropriate power supply.
