As I cant find any link on google,

Is there anyone here who tried to transfer their Raid0 from nforce to intel Raid?

is it compatible?

P5N32-E TO P5K-E

I just use the Raid as a storage device..

P5N32-E has an nforce raid controller
P5K-E has an intel or jmicron raid controller.

would my raid from nforce P5N32-E be detected as raid in intel P5K-E?

Short answer is no. Different controllers, different XOR functionality.

Were it me, I'dgo back to the old MB and see if it was still a viable raid set, then make an image. Then install on new MB, let its controller do its thing, then restore the image.

^agreed you wont get that to happen, there have been many an article written about transferring RAID arrays from one controller to another and none ended in sucess.

The main issue here is that there is no standard for the implementation or XOR process so every company/manufacturer makes their own to suit them.

Altought this thread is old, this page is returned first by www.dogpile.com, so I add this answer to help future people:

The easy answer: http://raid2raid.com/
that free software do just that thing.

The complex one:
Use a linux LiveCD with dmraid support.
