nothing is set in stone but i'm pretty sure i want the phenom and radeon, everything else is up for debate. any help would be great! i will mainly use this for gaming/web browsing

You could save $25 and get this CPU + motherboard combo:

oh i forgot to mention, since i live in CA i get taxed with newegg so i prefer not to use them. could you suggest something from tigerdirect?

I'll try if I get a minute. I'm at work right now. I had a quick look at the RAM and didn't see anything I, personally, would buy. Do you know if www.zipzoomfly.com charges tax in CA? I would suck it up and pay the tax for the CPU, motherboard, and RAM. The money saved will still more than make up for it.

the newegg combo would cost about 350 w/ tax and shipping
buying my setup from tigerdirect would be 314 shipped. pretty big difference.

also, yes zzf does charge tax to CA
