So I just finished building my computer on the weekend, yet nothing is booting, monitor, keyboard, and mouse don't work at all. I noticed there is a red light near the RAM and looked it up and saw that it meant the RAM wasn't working properly. My specs are:
CPU: Intel Core i5-6600K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor

Cooler: Noctua NH-U14S
55.0 CFM

Motherboard: Asus Z170-A ATX

RAM:Kingston FURY 8GB (1 x 8GB) (I have 2 of them though)
DDR4-2400

Storage: Samsung 850 EVO-Series 250GB 2.5" Solid State
Drive, Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive Video

Card: Sapphire Radeon R9 390 8GB Nitro Case: Fractal Design Define S ATX

PSU: EVGA 750W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply

Thank you!

do you hear any beep sounds when you power on the pc?
you made no mention of it so i will assume not.

see the little asteriks? o.c. stands for OVER CLOCKED, means automatic timings are not supported by the bios, you have to manually set it in the bios.

i don't think that is your problem tho but i do know kingston is notoriously not supported by asus down to a few cherry picked handful of parts.

next to your memtest button is a little digital...
look at the last 4 number of the mb there the bios rev. the newest bios is 1701 from asus web page. use the usb flashback port to put the newest bios on with a usb stick. if the error still there pull the gpu and make sure the cpu cooler not crushing the cpu chip.

Manual doesn't give me any clue on how to put it in, tried all the slots but nothing worked.

next to your memtest button is a little digital screen that should show a post code of either 2 letters or a letter and a number or 2 number combinations.
A0 means everything checked out.
read the bios section of your manual.
http://old.cit.odessa.ua/postkarta/bios_post_code_introduction.pdf

use only one stick in the slot closest to the cpu and press the button reset next to the memtest button and try booting up your pc again.. watch the LED screen next to those buttons to see the letters and numbers change thru the boot sequence. the post code willt ell you where the problem is that is halting the system check list/bios component self test.

if still no luck- at the bottom of the board edge look for a sliding switch that says ez xmp and switch it the other way as per how your motherboard manual says. http://www.asus.com/us/support/FAQ/1015262/

more than likely you will have to do what i did and manually put in the timing your memory kit is labeled for the 2400mhz speed. most everything else in the bios should work with automatic, if still not manual put in the voltage specified in the bios screen for memory
